Create your strong professional image with a website designed by experts

Last month I visited an acquaintance of mine who is running a recruitment consultancy for the past two years. He asked me to come over to his place and have a chat with his employees and the consultants to give them an insight into the corporate industry and the HR functions. I happily obliged him as I thought him to be a young entrepreneur who is doing a great job in the pharmaceutical and insurance industry providing quality manpower at a rate considerable lower than the industry.

Visibly excited, the young guy gave me a good reception and I found few very bright young faces. As I interacted I understood that this was a bunch of enthusiastic and bright young minds which if given the proper training and guidance will evolve into ace recruitment professionals.

The enthusiastic group after the discussion showed me the consultancy website. At the first glance it seemed to be very professionally designed, however, as I went through the website I found that in the services section, Besides recruitment, there were training, background verification services and even outsourced payroll services. I was little surprised at those for I found this small office working with just a handful of people and didn’t seem to be so much competent to provide so diversified services.

I asked them,To that an employee replied “No, we provide only recruitment consultancy, but we too have seen these services listed for long, on our own. We are not sure if these services were provided earlier. I had joined six months back”. The others in the group too had similar view.

My acquaintance was in another room with a client and when he was back, To my surprise and horror the person replied that “Oh, I copied the template from a well known consultancy which had that many services on offer. Now I thought that the website looks professional with those services listed. So I kept those services on the website, though we are yet to start the services.”

For the first time I realized how careless this fellow was. He not only has reproduced other’s website he even forgot all about the image of his own consultancy.

Well while this kind of unprofessionalism though is a rarity, many small companies get their websites done in a generalized manner. Little they realize that if they want their businesses to stand out in the crowd, their websites should do that as well.

The stupendous reach of a website presents a great opportunity to every Web Development new York company to put forth their services and the products to the world. However, for the same reason, the website should also be very special so as to attract the prospective customers. The website should carry the professional image of the company and exude the kind of confidence that the company itself exudes in its services or products. If the customer gets the feel of confidence and the professional attitude they are looking for in their vendors and business partners or the retailers; be sure that they’ll keep on coming back again and again resulting in high sales.
