Although a tiny state, Goa has plenty to offer for tourists of all types, what with its many beaches, world famous churches, temples and nature's attraction in the form of waterfalls and wildlife sanctuaries. Interior Goa has dense forests and is house for many wildlife species. Goa has many wildlife sanctuaries and parks which house various species of wild animals and reptiles. Famous among these are Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary renowned for varieties of birds, Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahadeyi Wildlife Sanctuary and Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary. Many of these sanctuaries are included in Goa packages.

Because of the hilly terrain Goa has stunning waterfalls cascading down the rocks. Some of them are easily accessed whereas a few others are deep inside thick forests. Two famous falls which are included in all Goa tour packages are Dudhsagar falls and Arvalem falls. You can have a beautiful view of the Dudhsagar falls while travelling by train because the train takes a U-turn in front of the falls. It is a breathtaking site.
