Bird Watching India Experience and Bird Watching Tips
My bird watching experiences while I was on a visit to India. India offers wonderful sights for bird watchers. Whether it is places like Himalayan region and north east India which is rich in natural beauty or wetlands of Gujarat and Rajasthan, you are sure to have an amazing experience of Birding.
There are various travel companies which offer bird watching and birding tour packages to India. But there is one company I know called ShineGoldToursIndia.com that provide tailor made packages to its customers. I was on a trip to Bird Watching in India last year and it was delightful experience with shine gold tours India.
If you are new to bird watching then it will take some time to get used to this habit. Here are some tips for bird watching beginners. Try to locate birds with naked eyes first because it is difficult to watch birds in the narrow vision of binoculars. You must have Binoculars of decent quality, and should know all the adjustments of it. Try to guess size of the bird with the reference of nearby object.
If you are new to bird watching then it’s better to go to some bird sanctuary, habitat or a national park. It will be easier for a newbie to locate birds. Voices, songs and calls are excellent way to identify different kind of birds. Obviously it takes a lot of practice but once you start identifying birds with their voices and songs, you can easily locate them.
It is always good to have an experience guide to identify characteristics of birds. I hope these tips will help you in starting bird watching.
