Delhi Darshan

Travelling is one of the major mind relaxant for me and it is more pleasurable if you do the arrangements well in time, starting from the smallest packing to the air tickets and hotel arrangement of the destination. Last year I did the mistake, the mistake which looked small but got a big problem for me. I went to India, I heard it’s the land of colours, festivals, holidays, cuisines, culture and so on, but everything stand still in front of me when I arrived Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi in the mid of that dark night, I forgot booking my Hotel. Yeah yeah, you will say what a fool Catherine is, I know, but mistake is a mistake either deliberately or by ignorance. So, I was standing at this recently renovated totally defining the concept of modern India enriched with their ancient roots of culture at IGI Airport of New Delhi without a clue to go anywhere. Ah now I used my friend Google the one and one source of all quick information. I typed Budget Hotels of Delhi in Google and found few options and then I was more concerned on Delhi Hotel Rates. Finally I called a phone number 011-65906590 which was mentioned as 24 Hours customer care service (God knows 24 X 7) on the website of India Tourism. After 2 rings somebody picked the phone and I heard a voice, the person who picked the phone at this moment was very attentive (I thought no one will pick the phone and if by any chance someone will pick the phone with a sheepish tone) he listened to my concern and guided me through different categories of hotels, their respective rates and services. His voice was really making me feel comfortable and soothing, you know why, because his words were very true, neither he was forcing me or making me feel scare that a single woman can’t be secure in this city in budget hotels but he was making me comfortable all the time.

So I booked a hotel on phone by doing all the necessary payments through my credit card on the phone itself (smooth process). Regarding transportation he connected my call to their separate division known as Delhi Darshan within few minutes I got the cab also. So here I was on my expedition of India.
