Jail Management Software- Managing Issues of Prisons

The first juvenile court in the entire world was established in the year of 1899 in Cook County Illinois. Prior to that period children were treated equivalent to adult criminals. If there was an order for imprisonment for them by the court then they would be put in jail with adult men and women and they had to carry out the same sentences as their adult counterparts. Death sentence was even given for petty crimes committed by the small children.

The children who were unruly were sent to private orphanages, work houses and training schools and along with this there was prevalence of involuntary servitude once the children reached adulthood. The justice systems which were used for controlling juvenile delinquents forced the children to work for long stretches of time with no salary or wages and that too under dangerous environment.

After the industrial revolution a public awareness about the fair and lawful treatment of children in the workforce sprung up. A large number of people became aware of the child labors who had to work for long hours in the industries with minimal wages.

After that reform groups were formed which supported child labor rights and laws and many program aimed at abolishing this. There were many adults who realized that if child labor continues it would be detrimental to the future of the nation’s children.

In order to make things simpler and manageable criminal justice systems were designed. But there is a face which is that the jails are overloaded and it had led to the creation of some unproductive procedures. These difficulties are faced by the jail management and the situation is transforming to a worst case scenario. There are various anomalies of jail management systems which are being upgraded nowadays and some of them on which improvement process is influencing are improper inter agency control, limited or no MIS systems and a minimal stock of up to date data for making decisions. The prisoners in the jail are considered to have more than the expected strength and that is why there is a creation of crowd in all the jails. So this call for a highly efficient Jail Management Software that can aid in managing the issues that crop up in jails which can make the jails a better place to love for the prisoners.

Assistance is required from the developers who can comprehend the jail systems lucidly and thus create the system on those essences. For this every aspect of the prison must be transparently defined so that the designs are made accordingly.
