Built in 1903, this route is a World-heritage site passing through 102 amazing tunnels, crossing over 800 bridges during a 96km journey. The train has a Shivalik Palace coach and a Shivalik Queen Coach, which both being equipped with a temperature-cum-time indicator, an altimeter, and fully furnished with a dining table and chairs.

Ooty: Getting there can be a bit challenging. But one you reach there, you will quickly fall in love with this ‘Queen of Hills’. The town center is crowded, noisy and vibrant, but the hilly region is all about pristine natural beauty, soothing serenity and overwhelming adventures. Don’t miss an Ooty tour this summer, if you love trekking and mesmeric tribe cultures.
