Delightful Beach Holiday at El Campello
El Campello may be just a quaint little town located near bigger towns like Benidorm and Alicante but it has delightful beaches that would make one’s holiday ideal. However, with the bigger towns so close by, it is easy to skip El Campello. That would be an error especially if one desires to enjoy soft sandy beaches and great weather.
Natural surroundings
El Campello offers beautiful and tranquil surroundings to the tourists seeking solace and peace with nature. There are different types of beautiful landscapes with clean beaches at this quaint village. One would enjoy staying in touch with nature through the leisurely walks and strolls for great insights and inspirations.
The warm waters and soft sand at the El Campello beach welcome tourists with a wide choice of water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling and surfing to indulge in besides just lazing on the beach for a great tan. There are good basic amenities which cater to the comfort of tourists that make it a fantastic beach holiday.
Tourists would enjoy the refreshing strolls along the promenade of Voramar Escultures beach which leads to Almadraba beach. Many local fishermen’s homes in different distinct colors can be spotted here. These can be viewed from the sea and are directional guides for the fishermen when they are at sea.
The El Campello beaches stretch out long and wide with soft golden sand. Environmentalists would appreciate the availability of a nudist beach a couple of hundred meters away; this spot caters to those who desire a great tan in private.
Historical attractions
One can also take a leisurely discovery over some ancient ruins around El Campello such as the ancient Iberian watch tower of 5000 years ago. The Iberian settlement has unique circular buildings with the findings of crockery, arms and preserved graves in the area; these are displayed in the local museum in town. The Romans on the other hand built rock spas and pools which have since been converted into fish farms.
Alternatively, one can make day trips to Alicante or Benidorm which are 13 km and 26 km away respectively. There is easy accessibility to these bigger towns from El Campello with many other historical monuments to be enjoyed.
Nightlife is also plentiful and vibrant at these bigger towns than at El Campello as there are more pubs and bars blasting loud music and dancing. Those who stay at El Campello can enjoy the best of both environments night and day.
