Auckland is a dream city for anyone who enjoys spending time shopping. There are many top class designer boutiques, high street chain shops and markets where bargain hunters flock in droves to see what they can find.

Fashion

Those looking for designer wear should head to the High Street, Vulcan Lane and the Chancery areas of the city where many designer boutiques are situated. These include Karen Walker, Zambesi and World.

Dress Smart Factory Outlet Centre has over 100 stores, which are ideal for shoppers looking for a bargain. Outlet stores offer the products at discounted prices from those found on the high street.

Markets

Howick Village holds regular Saturday markets. The area has a delightful atmosphere and, with over 100 shops to browse around, there is plenty to see and do for the other six days of the week.

For those early risers there is a Sunday morning market that is close to the beach. Takapuna market is popular with both locals and visitors to the area. It is possible to buy almost everything from fresh produce to clothes and even furniture.

Malls

There are several Westfield Malls in Auckland; many conveniently situated close to some of the more popular Auckland hotels. There are nine Westfield Malls in total, including Downtown and Takapuna selling amongst other things clothing, gifts and furniture.

Botany Town Centre is also very worth the visit. There are over 150 stores to choose from in a very picturesque setting. The shops are open every day and even offer late night shopping on Thursday and Friday evenings.
