If you are enthusiastic about driving cars, you may consider teaching others the best techniques about driving a vehicle. Teaching people how to drive a car is a rewarding part-time or full-time occupation for numerous driving enthusiasts. However, to become a certified driving instructor, you must attend a driving instructor training course conducted by a reputed driving training academy that will help you to pass the Advanced Driving Instructor test.

To become a driving instructor, specific minimum legal requirements need to be fulfilled. Any individual at least 21 years of age with a car driving license for at least three years can become a driving instructor. Moreover, certain additional criteria need to be satisfied before obtaining a driving instructor license. A person who has earned less than six penalty points on his/her license and has not been barred from driving at any time in the past four years is considered the ideal candidate for becoming a driving instructor.

After joining a reputed driving instructor training academy, you will be surprised to realize that your driving skills that you have earlier boasted of are not adequate for becoming a driving instructor. There are many different areas of maneuvering a vehicle that you must learn to become an approved driving instructor. To meet the individual needs of aspiring driving instructors, a good quality driving training academy offers one to one training. The driving instructors involved in training wannabe driving instructors are highly experienced. The courses are usually flexible, tailored to meet lifestyle and learning abilities of individual learners. Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) test

After successfully completing the driving instructor training course, you must pass the ADI test to become a certified driving instructor. The ADI test is divided into three parts. The first part tests your theoretical knowledge of driving including rules and regulations of driving and driving training. It also includes a video-based hazard perception test.
