Small business companies to the United States are specially supported by the federal grants with an objective to strengthen the country’s economical structure. Well it doesn’t mean that only being a small business veteran you can opt for the program; there are certain eligibility criteria that you have to meet in order to prove your potential to serve the government. GSA, the General Services Administration is an independent agency of the U.S. federal government that conducts the unfunded, five-year contract program listing the prices the federal government has agreed to pay for a vendor’s commercial products or services. This is called the GSA Schedule program. The GSA program comes up with a renewal option for three times of five years each that makes it a long 20 years contract.

Here you must note that the GSA Schedule contract is just an official contact is not a direct funding process. So you should not expect to get funded immediately being certified by the agency. Funding is only provided by the contracting agency when an order is duly signed by the federal agency. However, the program makes you eligible to opt for the business loans offered by various governmental and nongovernmental organizations that otherwise ask for guarantors or formal authentications. There are set aside contracts to be awarded to the GSA companies, all distinguished in 62 separate categories. These categories cover everything from industrial products, office products to vehicle and other services. While placing a bid you need to select the best matching category to find the most appropriate contract.
