An engineer is important person, even without any specific information about the law, as he or she offers technical expertise which is why they are picked from technical background rather than from a legal background. The process will also include creating a draft of the specifications and prosecuting the patent application. The process of development of the product itself has many stages. It includes generating an idea for a product based on a client requirement or on a particular problem that the product is supposed to solve. The engineering operations have to be planned in advance and the dependencies have to be notified too. Monitoring and feedback are also important steps before the final product gets ready for commercialization and patenting.
