Laser engraving is similar to laser cutting but instead of cutting out a shape or hole, it imprints text or images to the material.
There are different types of laser cutting such as CO2 for boring cutting scribing or engraving, Nd-YAG is used for when an intense output power is required as well as for boring and engraving. Nd laser cutting is common for when high energy and repetition laser cutting is required.
